The PhotoLine series consists of paper types which have been developed specially for exclusive artistic photographs and their reproduction. This paper charms the customers with its high quality and extreme color precision. It combines the precision of modern photographic papers and beautiful tradition with the unique charm of artistic papers - both to the eye and to the touch.
The PhotoLine series of Hahnemühle increases the creative potential of photographers and artists who work with digital techniques and publish their works in large format, printing with dyes and pigment ink in various systems.
The possibilities are endless: large color space and the finest black and white nuances in portraits, landscapes, digital art ... and in more than one copy.
The number of reproductions whose quality is consistent with the original is unlimited.
Our experience shows that the artists do not make a clear differentiation between our two product groups - the PhotoLine and ArtLine.
Some photographers prefer the ArtLine for their work. Many other artists use PhotoLine papers for reproducing their work. We encourage you to try both types of offered papers, so that you can decide yourselves which is best suited to your needs.
Artists want to communicate their perception of the world in their works. The ArtLine papers have been developed specially for reproducing works of art - paintings made with watercolors, pastels, acrylic or oil paints. The ingredients and structure of the ArtLine papers perfectly match the properties of our traditional artistic papers, to which artists have become accustomed. Reproductions of art works can be printed on the same type of paper, coated to adapt it specifically to meet the requirements of inkjet printing. The special quality of the ArtLine series renders a limited edition similar to a fingerprint of the original. Ink jet printouts on ArtLine papers have the same properties: long-lived beauty which is faithful to the original, and three-dimensionality in each printout.
