What does Vista mean for colour management?
In response to the launch of Windows Vista, PermaJet and The Imaging Warehouse are currently talking to manufacturer to get confirmation of compatibility with the system. Preliminary testing of our solutions suggests that the majority are Vista compatible. However, our manufacturers are currently working on officially confirming this, and we will provide updates as soon as possible. At this time, we can confirm that the following products are definitely Vista compatible:- PANTONE hueyPRO
- Spyder2express (v2.2 - 2.3.5)
In light of potential uncertainty, our advice for colour critical work is not to use Vista as yet. This is of course subject to change, PermaJet and The Imaging Warehouse are committed to providing solutions that are compatible with this new operating system.
